The Quick Answer
Boreas joined Biohackers World New York on 27–28 June 2026. We brought one idea to the floor — the sea did it first. The Red Sea averages 40 ppt salinity, and guests aboard Boreas get that salt water and salt air as the treatment itself.

WHAT NEW YORK WAS ACTUALLY ABOUT.
Biohackers World came to New York on 27–28 June 2026. Two days at the InterContinental Barclay — red light panels, cold plunges, hyperbaric chambers, wearables.
No single device stayed with us. What stayed was the organisers’ thread — real wellbeing comes from tools used consistently, not from trends.
THE SEA DID IT FIRST.
Some of the most effective wellness technology is not new. It is the sea.
Look at what people queue for on an expo floor. Most of it recreates something the ocean already does.
The Red Sea is the treatment room. No chamber required.
40 ppt salt water and salt air, every day of the voyage.
The Red Sea floats you at 40 ppt. No tank.
Sea air on deck is the original mineral-rich air.
Seawater carries the marine mineral profile already.
A dawn swim off the swim platform, then the jacuzzi.
Yoga zone and sea-view gym aboard the superyacht.
Sunrise on the sundeck. Stars on the star deck.
THALASSOTHERAPY — WHAT IT IS.
Thalassotherapy is the use of seawater, sea air, and marine minerals for rest and recovery. It has been practised around the Mediterranean since antiquity.
It is long associated with relaxation, easier breathing, and better sleep. Many travellers report the effect within a few days on the water.

None of this replaces modern longevity science. Our takeaway from New York was how well the two sit together.
CONSCIOUS TRAVEL — WITH TARA BUSCH.
It was a pleasure to share that conversation with Tara Busch of Conscious Travel Collective (@conscioustravelcollective).
Boreas founder Sophia Graudin came to New York to meet Tara in person.

Questions from Wellness Travellers
What is thalassotherapy?
Thalassotherapy is the use of seawater, sea air, and marine minerals for rest and recovery. It has been practised around the Mediterranean since antiquity. It is long associated with relaxation, easier breathing, and better sleep.
Is the Red Sea saltier than the Mediterranean?
Yes. The Red Sea averages around 40 parts per thousand. The Mediterranean averages about 38. The global ocean average is roughly 35. High evaporation and almost no river input drive the Red Sea figure.
What is natural halotherapy?
Halotherapy is salt therapy. A salt room recreates mineral-rich coastal air. Aboard Boreas the salt air is the real thing, breathed on deck every day of the voyage.
Does Boreas run wellness voyages?
Yes. Boreas has a spa, massage and facial treatments, a yoga zone, and a sea-view gym. There are 2 bars, 2 jacuzzis, a sundeck, and a star deck.
Can I book a single cabin, or do I have to charter the whole superyacht?
Both are possible. Take a full private charter for 3, 4, or 7 nights, or join a scheduled voyage booked by the cabin. Boarding is Saturday at Hurghada Marina or Port Ghalib.
Who is Conscious Travel Collective?
Conscious Travel Collective is Tara Busch’s curated conscious travel practice, built around meaningful connections and values-led trips. Boreas founder Sophia Graudin met Tara Busch at Biohackers World New York on 27–28 June 2026.
