A private car takes you door-to-door — no flight booking, no airport layover. Cairo to Hurghada Marina: 465 km on the Desert Road, 4 to 4.5 hours.
Port Ghalib is farther — 740 km, 7 to 8 hours by road. Most guests fly to Marsa Alam (RMF) instead; the marina is 15 minutes from that airport.

Option 2 — Domestic Flight from Cairo to Hurghada or Marsa Alam.
EgyptAir flies Cairo to both Hurghada (HRG) and Marsa Alam (RMF). Flight time is about one hour either way.
This works well for large groups arriving on separate flights. It also cuts the Port Ghalib route from 7–8 hours on the road to about an hour in the air.
